It may seem early to think of Christmas Trees, but a local Northwestern Ohio Christmas Tree Grower was honored for his Grand Champion Christmas Tree at the Ohio Christmas Tree Association tree contest at The Ohio State Fair.

On Monday, December 1st, 2025, Governor DeWine took delivery of a Real 13-foot Canaan Fir Tree. The tree was supplied by Greig’s Christmas Tree Farm located in Ashtabula, Ohio. The Greigs won 1st Place at the Ohio State Fair in July-August 2025 and were selected to supply the Governor's Tree this year.
