Galls on Fragrant Sumac: The Poison Ivy Connection
Wart-like bead galls are rising from the leaf surfaces of poison ivy and fragrant sumac. The galls on both plants are the handiwork of the Poison Ivy Leaf Gall Mite (Aculops rhois).
