Rusty Poplars are Dropping Leaves
Fungal rusts belonging to the genus Melampsora are making Poplars (Populus spp.) in southwest Ohio look pretty rough. Although Eastern Cottonwoods (P. deltoides) appear particularly hard hit, all species of poplar are being affected to some degree.
