What Is It?
A Partnership: The Diagnostic Walkabout Series in Greater Cincinnati is offered through a partnership between the Ohio Green Industry Association (OGIA) and The Ohio State University Extension.
Professional Training: The Walkabouts are for Green Industry professionals, including arborists, landscapers, turf managers, nursery managers, garden center managers, etc.
Comprehensive: Participants look at plants, plant pests, plant diseases, landscape designs, and other points of interest. Special attention will be given to native plants, pollinator gardens, and non-native invasives, including updates and tips on detection.
Hands-On: The training is held outdoors; topics are viewed first-hand.
Real-World: The Walkabouts reflect real-world landscape scouting; anything found on the Walkabout is open for consideration!
Sharing: Bring your questions and be willing to share your insights!
