Collecting diagnostic samples to identify and address plant diseases and pests

Published on

As the vibrant season of spring unfolds, so do the challenges of managing pests and plant diseases. But fear not! Doyeon Park, a master's student in the Department of Plant Pathology at CFAES Wooster Campus, in collaboration with the C. Wayne Ellett Plant and Pest Diagnostic Clinic, has created two very useful videos. These videos guide you through the essential steps of collecting proper diagnostic samples and understanding the diagnostic triage process at the clinic.

While the examples in the videos primarily focus on agricultural crops, remember that the guidelines are universally applicable to all types of plants and crops.

Find these helpful videos on the Integrated Pest Management website under the Media section.
