Here is your Growing Degree Day (GDD) summary ending June 30, 2023. This summary is a year-to-date summary and includes the months of January, February, March, April, May and June. 

 

Knowing the GDD is good, but knowing where that number falls within the sequence of plants blooming and insect activity is even better. This is a great tool to use and become more familiar with as we experience the uniqueness of each season.

Note that the pests are typically highlighted in the table to more easily distinguish it from the plants.

 

It is important to note that you can also hit the summary tab within the site and it will list the GDD accumulations for that zip code for previous years as well - it is nice to see the history, and the average of those years.
