Drought Stress on Turf is Underway

The first sign of drought stress is often blueish-gray turf that does not bounce back after foot or tire traffic. Continued drought stress will result in brown or yellow turf, which can also be mistaken for insect or disease damage.

Tyler Carr, Ph.D., Turfgrass Extension Specialist and Assistant Professor, recently shared some important information about turfgrass and drought stress. The inforamtion includes what you can do, and what's ahead.
