What do an estimated 90,000 people from 50 states, 52 countries and 6 continents do each spring? Every year, birders from across the world flock to NW Ohio to see the migrating songbirds. The Biggest Week in American Birding is underway for the 10th consecutive year. The week officially runs from May 3 - 12 this year.

Birders, from the most seasoned to the newest of new, come to the region to capture photos and/or memories of the spring songbird migration. There are also social events including trivia night, a birder's prom, and a Biggest Week in American Birding tattoo contest. If you aren't able to participate this year, check out the information online and begin planning for 2020. It is an event that everyone should experience and the best part - it happens in Ohio.
