Olive bark beetle, Phloeotribus scarabaeoides is a beetle (Order Coleoptera) in the family Curculionidae and subfamily Scolytinae. This pest is widely distributed in Southern Europe, North Africa, and the Middle East. It has been reported in California in 2016. This pest causes significant damage to olive trees.
