Storms blew through Sandusky Ohio Saturday, August 12, 2023, taking down branches, trees, and power lines.
Straight line winds, hail, and approximately 5 inches of rain accounted for tree damage
and downed power lines.
The size of Hail was amazing!

Clean up efforts were ongoing through the weekend and continued today.
Puddles left over from Saturday could still be seen.
Both power lines and telephone lines were downed.
Branches were strewn through the cemetery.
As well as the front of the Erie County offices building.
Erie County Fair was in session.
No injuries were reported but tents were damaged.
Typically, trees that show no signed of rot or decay will suffer damage or break apart during a storm.
As I have stated in a previous article, power lines are very dangerous as should be handle by a profession arborist.
