Program Manager for the Ohio State University Extension Master Gardener Volunteer Program since 2011. Responsibilities include training, monitoring and managing the Ask a Master Gardener Project; an on-line service that is part of National eXtension's Ask an Expert project to provide 24/7 responses to client's questions. A team of nearly 100 Ask a Master Gardeners respond online to consumer horticulture questions within two business days. The group responds to nearly 33% of all Ohio questions. Managing the Ohio Master Gardener program includes assisting Coordinators around the state to manage their county programs to meet their local needs and OSU policies.
